Workshop Science creates Business: Advanced Cancer Diagnostics and Therapeutics

LifeTecAachen-Jülich e.V. together with LifetecZONe and FlandersBio kindly invite you to the
workshop “Science creates Business: Advancing cancer diagnostics and therapeutics”

on the 25th of October 2012 (from 12 p.m. on) in Aachen, Germany.

The workshop will bring together about 100 representatives from biotech industry and university researchers to discuss collaborations in the field of oncology.

During the workshop the partner universities within the project will present capabilities of the Virtual Research Laboratory (VRL) and the first experimental anti-cancer product produced by its Science and Technology platform. Biotech companies will talk about their experience and impact of collaboration with universities. Pharmaceutical companies will share their views about interaction with universities and open innovation to develop new products.

Present your research with a poster

Researchers in oncology are invited to present a poster during the workshop. If you are interested, please indicate this in the online registration form. We will send you all practical details afterwards.

Euregional Pact II

This workshop is organized within the framework of Euregional Pact II (EPII), a cross-border collaboration of the universities of Maastricht, Leuven, Antwerp, Ghent and RWTH Aachen and the organisations FlandersBio and LifeTecZOne with the support of LifeTecAachen-Jülich. The project aims to cluster top level academic knowledge, expertise and infrastructure of the Euregion Flanders-Netherlands and Aachen within a Virtual Research Laboratory (VRL) to develop innovative targeted therapies to treat cancer.

EPII further aims to bridge with life science industry to stimulate collaborative research and to advance innovative ideas and products towards clinical application.
