at_Biomedica_2011Euregional PACT II attended the Biomedica in Eindhoven, the leading interdisciplinary congress in Human Health in the top technology region of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The meeting was organized by LifetecZONe a partner of Euregional PACT II together with LifetechLimburg, Lifetec Aachen-Jülich and Bioliège.

Euregional PACT II had a booth and we distributed flyers that presented our vision, mission, goals and cross-border collaboration. We are offering a unique State-of-the-Art cross-border Virtual Research Laboratory to researchers and entrepreneurs of Universities and Life Science companies in the Euregion. Our cross-border Virtual Research Laboratory is one of its kind in the Euregion. It materializes our vision, which is to join forces to achieve the highest level of competence and competitiveness and to strengthen the interaction between University and Industry. We are grateful to the Interreg IV program of "Grensregio Vlaanderen-Nederland" which made it possible to realize the Virtual Research Laboratory."

Prof. Dr. John-Paul Bogers, our partner from the University of Antwerp participated in the matchmaking event. He established a number of promising contacts with Companies such as Polygene, Link China Pharma Solutions, Nanostic, Nedermaas, Tweehuysen and NBank. At our booth, we had some interesting contacts with Life Science Companies like Bio-Plus services, Lavoisier, Innotact consulting, Ibbt, Waegener and TNO. "We consider some of them as lead contacts and we will follow up on them with the highest priority. Such contacts are of great value and can become the beginning of exciting collaborations, explained Prof. Dr. Chris Reutelingsperger
